To hold, you must first open your hand. Let go.
I view therapy as a relationship based on respect and trust. This allows both the client and therapist to identify recurring patterns while developing rapport.
Approaches which promote acceptance and emotional balance can then be identified, based on individual needs.
Mindfulness based practices are preferred in session, in order to foster a healing relationship with yourself and others.
Initially, I was trained in Trauma Informed Care, and I have sustained services for members of the LGBTQIA community throughout my years of practice.
My professional background has slowly developed over the previous decade, while providing services to residents of Washington, Missouri, and abroad.
Throughout the years I’ve supported teens, adults, and senior citizens in both community mental health and private practice settings. I have focused on pragmatic approaches which accommodate differing cultural backgrounds and worldviews, developed on a sense of hope, resilience, and creativity.
I am fluent both in Spanish and English, and I earned a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwest University in Kirkland, WA.
