To hold, you must first open your hand. Let go.
I view therapy as a relationship based on respect and trust. This allows both the client and therapist to identify recurring patterns, whether helpful or not. Alternate approaches which promote acceptance and emotional balance can then be identified as based on individual needs. I offer mindfulness based interventions that foster a healing relationship with yourself and others, and I was initially trained in Trauma Informed Care. I have sustained services for members of the LGBTQIA community throughout my years of practice.
My professional background has slowly developed over the previous decade, while providing services to residents of Washington and Missouri. Throughout the years I’ve supported teens, adults, and senior citizens in both community mental health and private practice settings. I have focused on pragmatic approaches which accommodate differing cultural backgrounds and worldviews.
I am fluent both in Spanish and English, and I earned a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwest University in Kirkland, WA.
